In my experience, same-sex wedding celebrations can be either flamboyant affairs, contemporary and sophisticated or very traditional. Whichever theme you choose for your partnership, Charlie Brown can provide a party atmosphere to match.

We'll start our relationship with a face-to-face meeting where we can put together a comprehensive plan for the evening. I'll take all of your wishes into account, especially in relation to the themes, music choices (including tunes to avoid!), the running order and any special announcements that you need me to make for you. I'm happy to work from a detailed playlist or general guidance for the styles of music to play, and I'm more than happy to take requests from your guests before or during the event.

On the big day, I'll use my experience to "read" the dancefloor and other signs from your guests to work out the best way to structure the music. Sometimes, for example, there are quite a few youngsters in attendance so it could be appropriate to play modern music or action dance songs quite early on. Other times there may be quite a few older audience members who would appreciate a trip down memory lane before they toddle off to bed, leaving the 'youngsters' to their R&B, modern Indie and such like into the early hours.

Whatever you want from your reception, I'm here to help and advise. I'm very flexible and non-judgemental and I will work with you and your other service providers to deliver a seamless experience. I'm not the cheapest DJ in the Nottinghamshire / Derbyshire area, but I'm not the most expensive either. I always deliver great value for money, and I have lots of great customer feedback to give you the confidence to book me.
